We are a dynamic and innovative software development company seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Software Development Department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to provide administrative support to our Software Development Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for technology.
Key Roles/KRA:
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for department members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
- Assist with project coordination including tracking progress, and updating project plans, and communicating with team members.
- Develop and implement effective administrative processes and procedures to improve department efficiency.
- Manage department supplies, inventory, and equipment.
- Provide technical support for basic software and hardware issues.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up equipment, software, and training.
- Maintain department calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required including support to Human Resource and Administration.
Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project management or any other related field.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience in a software development or IT environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs) and Project management tools (JIRA)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Competencies:
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.
