About Us:

We are a dynamic and innovative software development company seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Software Development Department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to provide administrative support to our Software Development Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for technology.

Key Roles/KRA:

  1. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for department members.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  3. Assist with project coordination including tracking progress, and updating project plans, and communicating with team members.
  4. Develop and implement effective administrative processes and procedures to improve department efficiency.
  5. Manage department supplies, inventory, and equipment.
  6. Provide technical support for basic software and hardware issues.
  7. Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up equipment, software, and training.
  8. Maintain department calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  9. Perform other administrative tasks as required including support to Human Resource and Administration.

Experience/Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project management or any other related field.
  2. At least 2 years of administrative experience in a software development or IT environment.
  3. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs) and Project management tools (JIRA)
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Competencies:

  1. Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  2. Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  3. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  4. Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.
